Your next stop -Xian, the country’s cradle of culture. Here you pay a fascinating archaeological visit to the First Emperor’s terra-cotta bodyguard-estimated at 6,000 soldiers strong. You then board the Deluxe M/S Century Star to venture into the center of the country, gliding through beautiful scenery and friendly riverside villages. Your cruise ends at Yichang, where you board a flight for Shanghai, rich in a colonial history evident in the Bund’s stately waterfront buildings and continues to lovely Zhujiajiao recalling China’s classical splendors…
